What type of finish do you use?

These products take any kind of finish well depending on the look you want. We suggest spraying or rubbing as this will evenly coat well.

Apply one coat of stain or paint and take a steel wool and knock the nubbies off and then respray or apply a second coat. Acrylic Spray Paint does an excellent job of sealing the wood.

If you choose to stain after staining a clear coat will seal them well.

If you are looking for a very natural look Boiled Linseed Oil is nice. Just rub it on and the grain of the wood will really pop for you.
